First Firing March 2025

We had 20 people help us for the first firing. It was wonderful to have all of us working together and learning to fire the train kiln! We had very good results and learned quite a bit.

We discovered we needed to have wood split way smaller than what I originally imagined, so we spent a lot of time splitting wood while firing. We worked around some other issues as well but thanks to our dedicated team and creative problem solving we were able to hit our target cones and had a quite successful firing.
